Regardless of whether your space looks onto an ocean expanse or an everyday suburban backyard, you can actively engage your view with your home by bringing its elements into your décor. By implementing the right colors, materials and even a few tricks of the trade into your living space, you may begin to wonder where your home ends and the great outdoors begins.
Color offers one of the most common ways to pull the outside in. Do you
have a leafy green view outside your window? Pull that color inside with
your furnishings. Don’t think the green has to be an exact match;

create dimension.
If you’re lucky enough to have a beautiful view of the water, consider blues. Blue furnishings, walls and rugs create a seamless connection between inside and out.
If you’re a gardener with a passion for flowers, pull their beauty indoors by reflecting their colors. The eye immediately connects this bold red couch with the flowers just outside the window, looking straight past the barrier of the wall.
A palette of blue and green is fresh and classic, and will fill the space with the airy feel of a grassy walk lakeside.
