Jan. 9-10/2010 - ICSC INTERNATIONAL COUNSEL OF SHOPPING CENTERS - WHISTLER CONVENTION
FranchiseLink has just been approved for membership in the ICSC ( International Council of Shopping Centers ). A six menber FranchiseLink Team attended the 2010 Annual 3 day, January 10-12 Whistler Conference event and presented the FranchiseLink service to close to 1700 attendees from across Canada.
Founded in 1957, the ICSC is the global trade association of the shopping centre industry. It's 60,000 members in Canada, theu US and more than 80 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academicxs and public officials.
FranchiseLink specializes in offering shopping centres and developers a "one-stop" approach in selecting and securing the optimum mix of franchised tenants in the quick service food, restaurant and retail industry. Close to 60% of all tenants in a "typical" Canadian shopping centre are franchised based.
