Structural Log Posts
What were they thinking ??
I did a design for a renovation a few years ago and there was a log post in front of the cabinets in the middle of the kitchen. See photo below.
You have to wonder what were the people thinking when they designed and built this kitchen. And the yellow and blue just set it off perfectly.
I pulled the kitchen forward and buried the post in a wall and added an island making a very functional updated kitchen. We also decided it might be time to paint the kitchen as well.
