had the opportunity to work with Debbie for nearly two years on the refurbishment of
Legends at Creekside, a 120-unit condo-hotel in Whistler, BC. The budget for the project
was very limited and, as a consequence, the work had to be phased over the course of 10
years. This added a level of complexity not usually found in major refurbishments of a
large resort hotel. Added to that was the additional burden of seeking consensus from a
majority of the owners before proceeding.
Throughout the process, Debbie provided design solutions that met the available budget
and provided detailed plans for implementation. Her professionalism, knowledge of the
hospitality market and progressive design philosophy has been very much appreciated by
those of us on the Design Committee. As an architect with over 35 years of practice, I’ve
had the opportunity to work with many interior designers and I would highly recommend
Debbie to anyone who is seeking an Interior Designer who is progressive, budgetconscious
and a team player.
