The open-air shopping center concept has abandoned the traditional enclosed air-conditioned mall. The Bal Harbour Shops has $2,555 sales per square foot.

The Forum Shops at Caesars is one of the most successful high-end shopping malls and is connected to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The venue includes more than 160 shops, haute couture boutiques as well as restaurants. The Forum Shops at Caesars has $1,750 sales per square foot.
